The Randwick Campus Redevelopment team have completed preparation for a Community Garden on the Royal Hospital for Women Outpatient Balcony.

The vision for the garden is to promote health and wellbeing for patients, carers, staff and the community and enliven the outdoor area. Members of the team worked to clean and clear the space to make way for garden beds, a kids play area and new outdoor seating.

The team thoroughly enjoyed contributing to a project that will benefit staff, patients and their families.

Many workers shared stories of personal connections with the Royal Hospital for Women during the day. The garden will be installed in October 2019 by the Randwick Campus Redevelopment team.

Staff were warmly welcomed to join in the activities and a BBQ was help with all to celebrate the new space.
