Embracing collaboration in new ETR space

The Education, Training and Research (ETR) space within the new Prince of Wales Hospital (POWH) Acute Services Building has revolutionised desk-based working and meetings.

The shared office design has provided a modern working space that focuses on collaboration and peer engagement.
This new style of work has been embraced by clinicians who have thrived on the flexibility that the contemporary activity-based space provides.

Created to suit everyday needs, the space fosters a sense of community and peer work, which has been “key to creating the best patient outcomes” says POWH Social Worker, Sue Armstrong.

The modern office spaces and meeting rooms have created a strengthened sense of community and peer work, which Sue says can be attributed to the design of the space and how easy it is to communicate and work with each other.
