HEALTH TRANSLATION HUB
The UNSW Health Translation Hub will bring together educational and medical researchers, clinicians, educators, industry partners and public health officials to drive excellence and support the rapid translation of innovative research and education into enhanced patient care.
Within the future UNSW Health Translation Hub building, innovative education spaces will inspire students with a hands-on experience, enabling them to train and learn side-by-side with clinicians, researchers and educators.
The UNSW Health Translation Hub will be a place for ideas, connectivity and innovative approaches, bringing together researchers, educators, students, industry partners and clinicians to advance health.
Over a weekend in mid-June, a link bridge was lifted into place over Botany Street between UNSW’s Wallace Wurth Building and the Health Translation Hub, physically extending UNSW’s Kensington campus into the Randwick Health Campus.
Levels 1 and 2 of the UNSW Health Translation Hub building will house specially designed clinical areas, providing clinical consultation and therapy spaces that help the community connect with leading experts across a broad range of disciplines.
Collaborative efforts aim to enhance patient care and community health outcomes through interactive displays and artistic experiences at the UNSW Health Translation Hub.
UNSW’s new Health Translation Hub prototype space –The Bank – has been relaunched to showcase UNSW’s initiatives and activities that support health and the partnership with government, industry and education.
A sod turn has marked the commencement of main works on the $600 million UNSW Health Translation Hub site, one of the marquee developments within the broader Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct.
Construction activities are set to increase in coming months, with UNSW recently gaining full access to the Health Translation Hub (HTH) site in June.
