"The Greater Sydney Commission is playing an invaluable role in expanding the way in which health and urban planning can be undertaken by government. This reimagining of planning can lead to improvements in the health and wellbeing of our communities – by improving access to health services, building healthy neighbourhoods and supporting better transport links and job opportunities." Elizabeth Koff, Former Secretary NSW Health

Meeting our city’s growing needs
The Precinct is critical to supporting our growing city by creating jobs, attracting investment, enabling great public spaces and delivering much-needed improvements to health services. Good planning and collaboration will ensure the Precinct is well-served by housing, transport connections, and social infrastructure.

Strategic planning
Randwick Campus Redevelopment is contributing to planning for the Randwick Collaboration Area being delivered by the Greater Sydney Commission along with representatives from Randwick City Council, UNSW, Australian Turf Club and state government agencies across health, education, planning, environment, transport and housing.

Strategically located between the Sydney Central Business District and Sydney Airport, the Randwick Collaboration Area includes the Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct.

The Collaboration Area will support Randwick in becoming one of Australia’s leading centres for health and wellbeing.
